AGBU FACILITATES A NEW ENGAGEMENT BETWEEN ARMENIA AND DIASPORA  
At the invitation of AGBU, a delegation of senior officials of Armenia’s Pashinyan administration, during its first official visit to the United States, met with AGBU community members for an open dialogue in Manhattan.

AGBU EXTENDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO APPLICANTS IMPACTED BY CLOSURE OF LUYS FOUNDATION   
AGBU announced its decision, in coordination with My Step Foundation, to extend scholarships to select students recently accepted to some of the top universities in the world.

TAKING A STEP TOWARDS HOME WITH AVC E-COURSES  
440 young Armenians from all over the world participating in the Ministry of Diaspora's “Take a Step Towards Home” program took their daily classes in Armenian language, history and culture through AVC’s hybrid education method that combines e-learning and in-class education. AVC also provided all the participants an opportunity to continue their studies online by taking a free course of their choice.

ARA KHATCHADOURIAN: RUN FOR PEACE 
Ara Khatchadourian, an Everest climber and citizen of the world, started his cross-continent RUN FOR PEACE from Marseille on April 7. Having run 105 days, 4550 km and crossing 11 countries, Khatchadourian reached Yerevan on July 21.

AGBU YEREVAN SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Twenty-four eager and talented students from Canada, France, Greece, Russia, Kuwait and USA joined us in Yerevan for a 6-week internship program. The students spent an unforgettable summer of professional enrichment and networking, while interning at the nation’s leading global companies and institutions, including Microsoft Armenia, National Instruments, Grant Thornton, Izmirlian Medical Center, RA Central Bank.

AGBU DISCOVER ARMENIA PROGRAM
AGBU's Discover Armenia Program celebrated it's 15th anniversary this year with 41 participants from 9 countries, including Armenia, Canada, Cayman Islands, France, Lebanon, Russia, Switzerland, Syria and USA.

AGBU ANTRANIK SCOUT CAMP 
This year the AGBU Antranik Scout Camp brought together 193 AGBU scouts from 9 countries, who spent their summer enjoying outdoor activities, developing leadership and important life skills.

AGBU EXPANDS PARTNERSHIP WITH GOLDEN APRICOT FESTIVAL 
As part of the 15th Golden Apricot International Film Festival, AGBU Armenia hosted
Rendezvous at AGBU series with world famous filmmakers Darren Aronofsky, Asghar Farhadi, Sean Baker, Gianfranco Rosi, Ulrich Seidl and Valerie Massadian
MENUHIN 2018 WINNER DIANA ADAMYAN AT AGBU ARMENIA 
Lasting standing ovations and congratulations filled the AGBU Armenia hall after the performance of a young and very talented violinist Diana Adamyan, winner of Menuhin Competition 2018 and AGBU alumna, at a special evening of classical music. 
THE GURDJIEFF ENSEMBLE  
The evening of Armenian music with the Gurdjieff folk instruments ensemble concluded the summer season of AGBU Armenia’s cultural events. The show was especially exciting for this year's AGBU Musical Armenia Program participants, many of whom were studying with some of the performers!
