THE MANY NATIONS OF AGBU CONVENE IN BRAZIL FOR ITS 10TH FOCUS SUMMIT

On the weekend of July 18-21, the Brazilian city of São Paulo was transformed into a hub for the most internationally diverse group of Armenian young professionals ever to attend the AGBU FOCUS summit, a global gathering held in a different destination city every two years.

AGBU HOSTS RENOWNED INTERNATIONAL FILM INDUSTRY STARS AS PART OF GOLDEN APRICOT IFF
Once again Yerevan submerged into film atmosphere thanks to the 16th Golden Apricot International Film Festival. As part of the festival, AGBU Armenia and GAIFF Pro industry platform offered a variety of events including meetings, panel discussions, master classes and workshops with prominent filmmakers and producers.

"TRAP" WINS CINETHINK ARMENIAN FILM PROJECTS PITCH BATTLE AND PRIME MINISTER'S AWARD
Along with Martin Hagemann (Germany), Juliette Duret (Belgium) and Jack Boghossian (Buenos Aires), AGBU Armenia's Executive Director Talar Kazanjian was a jury member of the CineThink Armenian film projects pitch battle at Golden Apricot Festival's GAIFF Pro platform.
We congratulate the TRAP crew - Tatev Hakobyan, Arevik Avanesyan and Vardan Hakobyan - for winning the battle and the Prime Minister's Award of 1mln AMD.

AGBU YEREVAN SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2019
Leaving Armenia with enriched knowledge, experience and a lot of memories after six weeks of internship. YSIP2019 farewell evening with all the participants and supervisors marked the end of another successful season of professional development, homeland discovery and new friendships.

Another successful year for AGBU Musical Armenia program culminated with a spectacular concert performed by MAP2019 participants.
Ten musicians from six countries explored Armenia’s rich musical traditions, nature, city life, cuisine and people in a three-week summer program.

AGBU SCOUTS GATHER AT ANTRANIK CAMP IN ARMENIA'S PICTURESQUE LORI
Traditional fire ceremony is the peak of every scout camp with music, dancing and acrobatics by each of the attending groups. AGBU's "Antranik" scout camp in Armenia's Lori region hosted over 160 scouts from 4 countries.

BACK TO SARIGYUGH
Arménie, Terre de Vie is back in Sarigyugh (Tavush region) to complete the task they have initiated! Thanks to the hard work and dedication of 32 young people from France and Canada, Sarigyugh village school will now have six additional completely renovated classrooms.
