AGBU LEADERSHIP BRIEFS ARMENIA'S PRIME MINISTER ON CURRENT STRATEGIC GOALS

On the heels of an official visit to Artsakh in support of the AGBU Fund for Artsakh, AGBU President Berge Setrakian had the opportunity to meet with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at the government building.

AGBU REDOUBLES EFFORTS TO REVITALIZE THE ECONOMY AND PEOPLE OF ARTSAKH
Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) announced a major push behind its AGBU Fund for Artsakh, a four-way strategy for sustainable socio-economic growth in Artsakh centered around programs in education, culture, humanitarian relief, and socio-economic development.

ARMENIAN SUMMIT OF MINDS
With the backdrop of picturesque Dilijan, and organized by President Armen Sarkissian, "Armenian Summit of Minds" brought together more than 200 state and political figures, representatives of world famous high-tech companies and analytical centers, scholars, businessmen and entrepreneurs from Armenia and abroad. AGBU was among the select participants of the summit.

AUA AND AGBU CO-FOUNDED RESEARCH GROUP MEMBERS RECEIVED BY PRIME MINISTER NIKOL PASHINYAN
Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received members of the research group entrusted with the study of Armenia’s technological development opportunities, co-founded by the American University of Armenia (AUA) and the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU).

THE FIRST GRADUATES OF THE AGBU-AUA
"NON-PROFIT MANAGEMENT" CERTIFICATE COURSE
Through the partnership between AGBU Armenia’s EU funded Bridge4CSOs project and the American University of Armenia Extension Program, around 40 civil society leaders will now be able to better respond to the needs of the citizens, thanks to the knowledge and skills gained during the “Non-Profit Management” certificate programme.

AGBU YEREVAN SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2019 KICKS OFF
AGBU's Yerevan Summer Internship Program 2019 is underway. 25 students from four countries have gathered in their homeland for a six-week-long intenrhsip at some of the best organizations and companies of Armenia.

AGBU VATCHE AND TAMAR MANOUKIAN SCHOOL STUDENTS VISIT AGBU ARMENIA HQ

During their trip to the Homeland, AGBU Vatche and Tamar Manoukian High School students from Pasadena visited AGBU Armenia HQ to get acquainted with the staff, learn about the Union's ongoing projects and upcoming initiatives in Armenia and Artsakh.

"CALOUSTE. A LIFE NOT AN EXHIBITION": VIRTUAL TOUR OF THE CALOUSTE GULBENKIAN MUSEUM

The AGBU Armenian Virtual College, Portugal-Armenia Friendship Association and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation presented an exclusive online tour of an exhibition celebrating the life and work of famous philanthropist, founder of one of the largest charitable organizations and AGBU’s second President Calouste Gulbenkian. The exhibition, “Calouste: a life, not an exhibition”, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the great philanthropist, opened at the Gulbenkian Foundation Headquarters and Museum in Lisbon, in March 2019.
