We are very pleased to introduce Dr. Araxie Altounian's ninth guest on AGBU's Musical Minds conversation series, New York-based composer and documentarian Mary Kouyoumdjian whose projects range from concert works to multimedia collaborations and film scores. A strong believer in freedom of speech and the arts as an amplifier of expression, Kouyoumdjian, in her own words, “firmly [believes] that approaching controversial topics through the arts opens conversations with audiences when words alone
