Thanks to AGBU, we have modernized classrooms, heating systems, and created a space where children want to learn. Families who once sent their kids elsewhere are now bringing them back.

The AGBU Antranik Scout Camp, nestled in the lush mountains near Lermontovo village in Armenia’s Lori region, has been bringing together Armenian youth aged 13 and older from across the globe since 2008.

Meeting the children from Artsakh was a meaningful personal experience, but it’s also particularly helpful in refreshing our sense of reality.

Armenia’s women, whether building communities or businesses, are incredibly resilient and smart. We knew that helping them would yield so much greatness.

I am proud to be Armenian, and am drawn to support Armenian causes through a trusted organization like AGBU.

For Ohanessian, the forces of history could not compete with her destiny to become Iraq’s first classical concert pianist and first female composer, transcending cultural and political barriers through the power of music.

Honestly, her influence on me was even stronger than my own parents, and that’s no disrespect to them. It’s just who she was.

Since my grandparents died before they had the chance to establish their legacies, I feel that it’s my responsibility to make sure they are not forgotten.
